For over 40 years now, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class has been the ultimate choice for on and off-road driving for many of its followers over the competition in its class.
In 2012 the supercharged 5.4-litre V8 was replaced by the 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo offering improved fuel consumption and lower emissions. AMG made some more changes to the exterior to give the G63 a more "brawl" appearance; including a more aggressive radiator grill, new light-alloy wheel design and three enlarged airflow inlets on the front bumper, to name just a few.
The mechanical upgrades included an AMG sports exhaust system with high-gloss chrome inserts, larger AMG high performance front brakes with six-piston fixed calipers and the new E-SELECT gear selector.
Additionally, distinguishing side stripes which pay homage to the C63 507 edition, forged 21” alloy wheels and stainless steel under armour. Inside the cabin you will find tailored ‘Designo’ two tone, diamond-quilted nappa leather seats which are also heated, ventilated and electrically adjustable…along-side a matching leather dashboard.
Often talked about as a future collectable due to it being one of the very last of this model type produced.
