These upgrades contribute to a weight reduction of 25 kg (55 lbs), or up to 40 kg (88 lbs) with the track package equipped, compared to the GT R.
The GT R Pro’s track pedigree is further highlighted by its Nürburgring Nordschleife performance. In November 2018, Mercedes-AMG conducted a test where the GT R Pro, driven by Maro Engel, achieved an impressive lap time of 7:04.632 minutes, placing it among the top 10 fastest road-legal production vehicles at the time.
